KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Be the primary Customer Quality Support providing the OEM with a high level of customer support.
-Support OEM Before In Service (BIS) issues.
-Perform OEM customer quality audits.
-Contain any product quality issues and provide rapid feedback to the BFCEC customer quality department.
-Write issue reports following Cummins 7 Step problem solving process.
-Provide VPI Early Life customer support.
-Coordinate failed parts / engines return to BFCEC.
-Support application engineering, resolve application issues, support issue adjudication.
-Work with OEM’s and distributors as required for warranty issues or major quality spills.
KEY SKILLS:
-At least 4 years product service support experience.
-Application experience with medium and light duty diesel engines.
-Experience working with distributors and / or OEM’s
-Experience using structured processes, writing reports and using structured problem solving tools.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Good English; reading, writing and speaking.
-Business travel / working at OEM facility will be a necessity
