POSITION SCOPE:
      Works on design and validation work in support of the Plant inclusive of all unique product ranges.
      
      
      POSITION PURPOSE:
      1.Work closely with manufacturing and suppliers to achieve producible, quality designs at the lowest possible cost
      
      2.Support quality containment activity, both in plant and with suppliers.
      
      3.Implementing proactive activities to reduce implementation risks (Virtual Build Trials, APQP, DFSS tools, etc)
      
      
      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
      1. Actively participate in function improvement efforts and 6S projects.
      
      2. Perform engineering engine tests for design validation and new rating development.
      
      3. Integrating suppliers into the design process to ensure process FMEA issues are addressed in the design.
      
      4. Provide the translation of engineering specifications in assembly processes and controls.
      
      5. Effective use of the 7-step problem solving process and FTA’s within the team to resolve issues quickly.
      
      6. Work results in the development of new or refined product, materials, processes, and projects.
      
      7. Perform form, fit and function studies to insure quality designs that meet all design requirements and space constraints
      
      8. Prepare technical data and complete documentation of work
      
      9. Liaise with OEM reliability teams to resolve product issues to meet targets and report status with robust measures.
      
      10.Ensure manufacturing and assembly requirements are considered through the design process
      
      Requirements:
      1. Education Background:(Eng) minimum in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
      
      2. Experience and skills requirements:
      Three or more years in focused technical area of expertise such as diesel engines,structure and stress analysis, finite element analysis, design or mechanical validation, with demonstrated experience and capability to manage projects.
      
      3. Culture/Language Requirements:CET 4 minimum
      
      4. Other requirements:
      Prefer candidates who have a distinct interest in electro-mechanical design, stress analysis, and product development
